Your assistant really is so adorable!! I'm not a big peanut butter fan but I'd eat one of these!

So, did you crack open the Diet Dr. Pepper...I mean, since you already had it right there? :)

These look so lovely. I am going to make them.

I loved the, "handiwork" comment, too. You kill me, too, Stie!

Hi Christie. Just checking in. These look GREAT! I've been having something of a "baking crisis" lately. After reading this post, I'm wondering if I need to refrigerate my baking soda. Seriously, I think everything I've tried to bake lately has not turned out like usual. Have you had to adjust your recipes? I don't see why I would need to...since I came from a low elevation. Any thoughts?

I need a twelve step program for how NOT to make these. I better go find a different blog... Peanut butter and chocolate addicts anonymous, anyone?

I'm with Jessica--I need a 12 step program to get me off these things. I could eat peanut butter straight from the container so you add fat and chocolate and I'm a gonner. I hope you washed it down with the DP.

I'm too tired to make these. Can you just make them for me? You can send your assistant to deliver them.

Put this on the list for the Oma visit!

Oh I want some RIGHT NOW!

Hey! I make these all the freakin time and I work my butt off to spread the dough to every inch of the pan-I had NO FLIPPIN IDEA they would do the work themselves. How did you get so smart? I'm leaving the inch around the edge next time. You are my hero.

Hi! I'd like to make these today. Do you use quick oats or regular oatmeal?? Thanks for the recipe!

Christie said...

Anica - I use regular old-fashioned oats. I don't like to bake with the quick cooking ones. I think they mess up the texture of things. Good luck!

Anica said...

Delish! They are so good! Thanks again.

What do you use to frost them? Do you make it or use store bought?

Christie said...

Megan - I have made it with both homemade and store bought frosting and it's delicious either way. Good luck!
