Can't. Stop. Scrapbooking.

And here is a sampling from a little 8x8 book that I started a while ago to document funny/crazy/heart-wrenchingly sweet things my kids have said over the years:

No intervention necessary (not like the Band-Aid thing, ahem). Children are being fed, I have been showering regularly, and the house is moderately clean.

It just makes me happy. So happy.

I repeat...please lock these away when my kids come for a visit. They already think I'm a neglectful mom...just wait til they see these! It's a good thing you're so nice...otherwise I would hate you for making me look bad!!!

These are so cute. What a fantastic hobby! You're preserving the happy moments of your kids lives. When I was a young mom I was listening to Conference as a sat on the porch watching my kids play in the mud. ET Benson said "Make happy memories with your family. There will come a time when you live on those memories." I always pictured we'd be huddled in a bomb shelter, starving to death, sharing our memories. Now I know they're for me even more than the kids. Happy, funny memories (even bad ones after a few years) warm up your life, your marriage, and your heart. Keep scrappin!

cute! it's like my family's quote book... it's for all the stupid/funny things we say... it's hilarious and way too much fun to go back and read. everyone should start documenting these things in their lives. the things we say are too funny not to!
