Love notes

Last week, I found baby girl furiously scribbling a note to one of her classmates. She was writing and re-writing, crumbling up little post-it notes, wanting to get the wording just right.

When I peeked over her shoulder, this was the note causing her so much grief:

Apparently, a boy in her class had demanded a note from her stating whether or not she would be willing to kiss him.

What do you think it would take to get that note copied and distributed to every boy within a 50-mile radius in, say, seven years or so?

I'm thinking the Husband would gladly spend thousands to make it happen.

P.S. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your sweet words on my little headshot project. You can see the new one over there on the right. You all rock. Way to make a sista feel good about herself.

Hannah is already so wise. I figured the only way to be best buddies was to kiss them.

For real? What grade does this stuff start? Love her face in the first pic and I will take a copy of her note so my daughter can hand it out too :)

My freckle faced Hannah has the same "roll the eyes" look. Must be the name-or their feisty mamas! You go girl! Keep them boys at arms length!

THAT. IS. AWESOME.

I had to have the "talk" with Oldest a few months back... He's decided that it's so gross he's never doing THAT. He's going to adopt instead. :)

Let's hope for my sanity, he sticks to that plan. -J

That picture of her says volumes about her feelings. I LOVE it!

She is thoughtful. Way to let him down easy, Hannah.

My son's better not be demanding written confirmation as to wether they can kiss girls in their class, or not.

I feel like I WON!! That picture of you was the one that I picked!!

...way to make it all about me, huh?

I had to show my hubby this one...it was so sweet.

Love the pic you chose. It was the one I liked best also. :)

Love it. It's a little scary that this is beginning at the ripe old age of 8. The boys will be pounding on your door by the time 16 comes around!

LOVE the rolling of the eyes!

I want to bottle her goodness and bring some up north. I'm sitting here catching up on your blog and I am once again dumbfounded by the similarities in our children. While I am unaware of any boys trying to kiss my girl, she is ALWAYS penning notes to people. On post-its.

Writing love notes for him or her is indeed a great way to express your feelings to them. Very romantic and personal.
