Next they wanted to have a bakery.
Tragically, it was a half hour before dinner time. And since I am
You know.
Seeing as how treats take at least a half hour to bake, another half to cool, and a third half for me to stop eating them long enough for the kids to sell them to the maybe one person who would be wandering our street at that hour. Our neighborhood? Del Boca Vista. Everyone is sound asleep in bed around here by five o'clock.
Hearts heavy, and all the business acumen nearly drained from their souls, they thought of a third potential business venture.
Internet, I give you the Fall & Leaves Co. Which is apparently very strong in religious acts.
Interesting question to ponder (aside from how one goes about becoming very strong in religious acts) is exactly where the business plans to acquire two leaf blowers, a dozen rakes, and hundreds of leaf bags. Because I'm pretty sure that I own none of those things.
Seeing as how our neighborhood does most of our lawn care for us and all.
Details. Getting in the way of budding entrepreneurs every day.

I gotta admire their work ethic...but yeah...they may blow the wad they haven't even made yet on leaf blowers and bags.
It's amazing that one so lazy as yourself could raise such entrepreneurial and hard working kids...
I don't need lawn care because I have my own indentured servants...er...I mean strapping young sons to do that for me...but I am very interested in learning the art of becoming very strong in religious acts. I would be glad to pay top price for a set of instructuonal DVDs produced by and starring your children.
I think that's awesome! And funny!
Way to go cuzzins!!! I want to hire you. Do you travel? How much do you charge to weed flower beds? I will even let you use my weed blower and rake. Tell your mom you can get lots of jobs out west. Christie-maybe they can call themselves the "Sunshine lawn cleaners" (shameless Seinfeld plug).
Maybe their strength in religious acts is similar to Moses parting the waters. Your kids can command the leaves to depart. I don't know. Kids say funny things. That's why I keep mine around.
Has the Del Boca Vista phase III condo board approved this home-based business?
NO LEAF FOR YOU!
You might want to suggest they go door-to-door selling puddin' skin singles or poles. (You know Festivus is right around the corner.)
So funny!!!
Absolutely love this. What great kids! You should be proud of them and make them (and yourself) a little treat.
In the hospital ICU with Byron...spitting I am laughing so much. Did you ever determine what strong religious acts were exactly?
That is hilarious...my poor girls want to do a lemonade stand every year and I say no. I did let them do a bike washing stand...wasn't so popular though.
