Redefining classy
Chase has recently begun sprouting the beginnings of a mustache on his upper lip.
It is thrilling to everyone, of course, except his older brother, who - for reasons known only to the gods of manliness - is lacking a mustache of his own.
[That, and the fact that Chase is now taller than him, has become the bane of his very troubled existence.]
Last night at dinner the ever-palatable topic of the 'Stache came up yet again. Chase was asking me if the Husband has to shave every day, and how quickly the stubble grows back in. When he found out that it indeed does grow everyday if you don't shave it, he seemed pleased.
Then he said, "Yeah, I think I'm going to grow a two-foot long beard. They're just so classy."
Classy? Probably not the Vogue magazine definition of the word.
But I'd say it definitely suits him.

Okay, that is hilarious. Tell Classy Chase to go Fu Manchu for sure if he grows weary of the ZZ Top look.
Ahhh yes, two growing boys under the same roof. I know all about it. The beard is definitely a class act.
Classy in a creepy-motorcycle-dude sort of way. :) Very nice rendition of the beard, by the way.
so funny...!
Oh my gosh - are you just freaked out by the facial hair? I think I would be. Two foot beard = total class. Especially when they're filled with the eggs you had at breakfast and stuff.
It's my understanding that the later you start puberty, the taller you get. That could just be something people say to their 14 year old sons to make them feel better...
McKay might like to hear it too though.
How often do you shave your beard?
Oh classy :)
What a funny kid!!
Around these parts a mustache or any/all facial is the definition of classy.
They are especially classy if you braid and accessorize them :)
I feel so close to you. Adam (age 10) will be taller than Evan (age 13) in like, 15 minutes.
I love Chase. He truly has his finger on the pulse of what is pure class.
I love a man with facial hair. It gives us something in common. (It looks better on Chase!)
LOL!!!!!
