It's true what they say - opposites do attract. And while he may say po-taw-to and I say poh-tay-toh, we do have a few things in common that we share:

  1. this was so cute! so true: guy vs. girl. good thing we gals can balance out their silly minimalism. glad those sox can keep you rooting for the same team. although your own little team is much more adorable!

  2. I loved this. So true. Although Nathan's beauty regime is getting more complex now that he has discovered Kiehl's products. I guess that's what happens when you have a gay brother. :)

I recognize those bedside tables too! Glad you still have them. And the pictures of your kids are so adorable.

  3. I absolutely love this post!
    I can so totally relate!
I think we must have a lot in common!
    And your purses...awesome!

  4. I'd be worried if his beauty regimen was anywhere close...and only Miggs has more shoes than his wife. Go Jacoby!

  5. Girlfriend. I'm SERIOUSLY coveting those handbags.

And are those really ALL of your shoes? Please tell me that they're only a small sample of your shoe wardrobe. A girl with a purse collection like that MUST have more than . . . Oh. Alright. Many were stacked. That's about 20 pairs of shoes. I guess that's enough. ;-)

That picture of your daughter is breathtaking.

  9. GO Sox, is right!
Perfect post...love the visuals. (Although I do like Josh's Danish flag...Greg's take on decorating is unframed posters, or it was before we got married.)

  18. okay... i think you may be living in a parrallel universe....

we should hang out then our husbands can talk about boring things and we can discuss important things like why j-lo refuses to announce she's pregnant when it is totaly obvious that she is.

  19. Brilliant post Stie! Love the comparisons--they are true in this house too. Isn't it funny how (most) husbands/guys are totally content with their limited "stuff"? I don't get that at all.

We were possibly separated at birth. I'm thinking of renewing my subscription to People so I don't have to go out to get it anymore.

  20. love the color of your walls - and yes- we love 'em (those men of ours) and balance is good - but some days i just wonder...?

  21. If Jim had his way we would be living in a lodge or tent. So sad for him that the only thing in this house is his gigantic elk head, that I've tried for years to decorate around.

  22. I stumbled onto your blog through a comment you left on someone else`s blog, and I love it! The pictures you posted could have been taken from our house, because many things are so much alike.... like the breakfast our husbands eat, the bedside tables and the movie choices! Anyway I`ll be checking back soon. Great post!
