Curse those crafty little elves

I am in so much trouble.

Like serious, intervention-required, may-never-wear-anything-but-a-muu-muu-again trouble.

Look what those damn little elves have created:

No, they have not partnered with the devil that is the girl scout cookies.

THEY HAVE MADE THEIR OWN.

Available ALL. YEAR. LONG in the store.

It's bad enough that I buy them in the spring, hide them from the kids, and eat myself sick on them every year.

But now to have unfettered access to them anytime I want?

It's like selling meth at the corner gas station. Everything you need in one stop!

Don't they realize there are people like me out there, with no self control whatsoever? People on the verge of food suicide at all times of the day and night?

I am so dead.

Just look what happened on the ride home:

I think it's pretty safe to say that the evidence will likely be gone before dinner.

AHHHH! This is breaking news! I love those cookies; they're the only Girl Scout cookies I buy. Thanks for the head's up! IMA GIT ME SOME!

I'm going to just plug my ears and cover my eyes and sing lalalalalaIcan'thearyou on this one. Like I need another indulgence to crave.

MMMM... the cookie layer on the bottom makes them off limits for me and the Gluten Free... but oh, I remember how horribly addictive they were.

Good luck with your 12 step program :)

I was just at the store today. If only I'd known. Oh well, there's always tomorrow!

Well, since I need to go get milk anyway, some cookies may be in order. We can wear matching muu-muus together.

Oh Christie!!! That is just proof that they are Satan's Elves. That's just wrong on so many levels... I can't even think straight, right now looking at those cookies... Sometimes you really should just keep things to yourself.

The Girl Scout version is my absolute favorite!! I saw these at the grocery store and quickened my pace. I know that I will get in to trouble if I end up liking them. Oh well....only live once! Kerri

I'm so glad I can't stand the texture of coconut. Flavor, yes. Texture Yuck.

I saw those and I sighed...because first those freakin' elves made the grashopper cookies that are a lot like Thin Mints (my favorite) and now they have the new ones that are just like my second favorte Girl Scout cookies.

I seriously love you, Stie. You make me laugh.

SERIOUSLY?????? Why did you tell me?????? Now I am in trouble. I never go down the cookie row (How the H do you spell the row-aisle or isle....super confused!)

Oh, I have looked up quite a few recipes to "make your own" to get me through the girl scout cookie dry spells (of course, I never make them) but now that they are available in the store . . . this is bad.

I have another idea--I will treat these cookies like the new version of Pride and Prejudice--it might actually be good, buy I refuse to see it on principle that Mr. Darcy actually IS and can ONLY be Colin Firth. I will accept only the Colin Firth version of SAMOAS (Coconut Dreams my a*%).

Samoas in disguise? What is the world trying to do to us? Life just keeps getting more difficult for me. And only ONE row on the way home? Girl, you are doing great!
