Miscellany

Not sure what happened with my comments on the last post. I got several emails telling me you were unable to leave me a comment.

We can't have that now, can we?

I changed it back to the comments pop-up window, blindly hoping that fixes it. Goodness knows, this girl needs her comments to get her through an otherwise very un-complimentary daily life.

BTW, I'm betting Mr. Obama had one HELL of a party last night. Anyone stay up to watch history being made? I've been fighting a cold and just couldn't do it.

Well done, Mr. President.

Does this mean you don't want my "I Heart Sarah" shirt as a hand-me-down? ;)

No kidding . . . MO is almost as red as UT, now. I'm excited because now when I come to visit you and we go gamble the sky's the limit baby!

Glad you fixed the comment thing and happy to know I wasn't the only one struggling with the comment thing! BTW, glad you had a great trip...trips like that are like getting good mail, only better!

We watched into the wee hours. It was a party, but it was also sobering and he seemed very Presidential right out of the gate.

Glad you had a good trip and are back safe and sound.

And, glad your comments feature is fixed.

I couldn't break from the television screen... I was so ecstatic!!!

BTW yours wasn't the only page that I couldn't leave a comment on.
I couldn't leave a comment on Momfiles either?? Don't know whats up with that?

We had a party with the kids....Blue balloons and screaming. I have a little boy 11 that is already looking forward to a future in politics. Something in his heart I think!
Glad to leave a message, hope the trip went well!

I'm in mourning and wearing black today.

Bah humbug.

I did stay up to watch history in the making. I did give a good speech and seemed very Presidential like. However, I am mourning today, but I'll get over it in a day or two. Well played Obama.

This conservative is hopeful about the future! And check out my blog for more commentary on the subject.

I didn't stay up to watch but my kids and I watched the highlights on CNN.com this morning. There was a mini-party here after breakfast.

no...this girl cried herself to sleep. J/K...I really only cared that Prop 8 passed. Woohooo!

Tried to comment, too...didn't work. Oh well. I'm also in mourning. But I would've been either way. No good options this year (IMO). It was cool to see history be made but I couldn't stomach the speech. Too many reasons to list in a silly blog comment, tho. Happy day-after-the-elections-day to you.

I was bummed last night but...time to be supportive. Now let's see what you can do, Mr. Obama... let's fix everything right now. I want a change. Give me a change. Change it all up, ...change, change, change. Change the awful economy, change the taxes...give to the poor, change the evil in the world, make it all better, stop the drugs, the murders, fix wall street, and don't forget to put more taxes on us. Sorry, I guess I still need some time.

I couldn't make it into the wee hours, if wee hours are considered after 10:00ish. I caught some snippets this morning on FOX News & MSNBC. I'm still processing.

I thought Obama's speech was awesome. The whole thing made me cry. I can't believe what's happened in my own lifetime.

Regardless of your politics, it will be interesting to see how this next Presidential term plays out.

I bet the party was big alright.
