On pumpkins and musicals

In case you were wondering:

We did go to HSM3. Probably the worst of all the three movies. It was BEYOND PAINFUL. And I am a girl that likes my musicals, be they high school or otherwise. But this one? Horrible.

Although, she thought it was the best movie ever. (But don't believe her. It was pretty bad.)

Just ask them. They'll tell you how painful it truly was.

But I survived the mess. They survived the rest. And here is the end result:

Happy weekend!

Those pumpkins are awesome! I will probably wait to see HSM3 when it is on the Disney Channel.

Now what are my husband and I going to do for date night?

Really, really cute pumkins! I haven't let mine carve yet. The pumkins are still looking generically "fall festive" on my porch a little longer.

They did a fabulous job on their pumpkins!! Thankfully no one in my house wants to see HSM3. Thankfully.

Bummer - I was actually looking forward to #3. Maybe we can wait for the dvd.

The pumpkins look great. I'm liking the bunny rabbit.

Ha ha, no question which one is the princess's! (When asked his name, Will tells everyone "My name's William, but my Dad calls me Willians!)

So glad I didn't have to see HSM3, just the advertisement gave me a cavity. Ew.
I checked into tees at H&M. Did you know you can't shop off their website? ANNOYING!!!

Your pumpkins turned out way better than mine. That could be because I haven't let my kids carve any. Because that's how rude I am.

That is a total shame that HSM3 was a bust! Of course, I have 3 boys so I haven't seen the first 2 yet, either. I love musicals, though. Those Jack-o-lanterns are fabulous, though! I have never seen bunny ears on a jack-o-lantern before! How delightful!

Ilene's comment cracked me up ;)

I'm disappointed to hear that HSM3 didn't meet your expectations. I think we'll still see it but we're waiting a few weeks for sure.

Great pumpkins- I love the bunny, so creative.

Cute pumpkins. We will be carving ours next week.

Bummer about HSM3. We will still watch it, just because I'm a big fan (sad I know). But at least I won't have high expectations.

I like Holly am also annoyed that H&M does not have an online store. What's up with that????
Love the bunny pumpkin.

i didn't post pictures of our jack o'lanterns. it was hadr enough for me to let them carve them all solo. the end result was not publish worthy for a perfectionist. yours, however, are cute.

We also saw HSM3. The plot? What plot? The singing? More like nasal screeching. Did like the dancing though, that was fun to watch and there was one cute line somewhere, but I forgot what it was. A total waste of $$$$$$. The balcony is closed. Signed, R. Ebert

I'm glad you survived your crazy day! All I could think was what a great mom your kids have. And I too LOVE the bunny pumpkin!

It was the weakest of the three, but I still liked it. I loved the music. NOT happy with the lack of costumes. The tops got lower and the bottoms got higher.

That's funny. I've only seen the first one, but my sister loved both the first two. I'm willing to bet she'll love the third one, too...we'll see. I probably won't see it for another 5 years when Avery cares!

Chase's expression is a perfect boy-reaction to a girl movie.

Great pumpkins! Love the bunny.

I hope the boys aren't scarred for life. When my son was home sick with mono I took him to see the Ya-Ya Sisterhood movie. Torture.

Great pumpkins! I bet I can guess who the bunny's is...

Okay. I saw the movie.

It wasn't THAT bad. I liked 2 the best-- but 3 was fun! It's not going to win any awards or anything... it was a bit cheesy at times... maybe a bit sappy...but it's DISNEY and it's HIGHSCHOOL.

My kids loved it.

Oh- and don't you think my Jax could TOTALLY have played the part of little "Chad"???

Seriously. He would have done better- and the wig they had on the poor kid was horrible.

Anyway- long comment. Sorry. :)

OH, don't tell me that...I haven't seen it yet! The pumpkins are way cute!!

This review just saved me a whole lotta cash. Thanks.

Hannah and Emmie have the same jack-o-lantern smile going on!

And your pumpkin carving went much better than ours...

I haven't seen it yet and I still will even though I've heard not so good things. Also, good job on the jackolanters. My husband is out of town till Thursday... we might not get ours done this year.
