One for the grandparents

What do you do when it's 104 degrees outside WITHOUT the humidity heat index? When the pool feels like warm bath water and you've already been to see two movies?

Answer? You clean up your three babies, make promises of ice cream, head to your favorite greenhouse, and snap a few pictures. That's what you do.

Then you sit down to edit and cry when you realize they are just not babies any more.

  1. Your children are beautiful. But I, too, hate those days when it's discovered that the "babies" aren't "babies" any more.

  7. These are so cute. They really are getting so big. I love their outfits too--coordinated but not matchy matchy.

  8. 1. I am so amazed by your talent. I'm calling you right now.

    2. I've been lamenting about my babies not being babies all week.

    3. I made the exact same comment about the pool water feeling like bathwater a few days ago.

  9. What are you bribing them with, so that you can take so many pictures of them? They always look so happy to pose for you. My kids would be throwing rocks at me by now. I love that last picture so much. It made me think that Hannah's future love interests are going to have to pass some pretty big tests from her brothers.

  10. Hi, I've been a lurker on your blog for quite some time now and I just have to ask.....when do your kids go back to school???? I can't wait for you to get back to blogging more often. You always bring a smile to my face and your blogs are one of the first that I check in the morning. Can't wait till your back "full time"!

  11. I see two sets of braces on those kids. That means to me is you must love your children very, very much. Everytime I see a child with braces I tell them how much their parents must love them.

I'll have 3 kids in braces next year, and I'm just not sure I love my kids that much. . . This from a girl who's had them two times herself. This is why God invented ex-husbands.
