This is really in response to your previous post. YOU HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO BE A PHOTO SNOB - your pictures are absolutely beautiful. As a matter of fact, I have a coveting problem with your photographic abilities... Like this picture of your twirling 6 year old - absolutely amazing. I hope you just buy the cheapest package of those school shots.....
I love, love, love that picture! When are you coming to visit so you can take some pictures of my little ones! Give your birthday girl some extra hugs and kisses from us! Is she really six? She is just so adorable!
darling. ooh, i love li'l miss hannah and all her princess ways. she has those boys to keep her tough and a softness that is oh so sweet! give her a squeeze from aunt min!
I can't believe she is 6 years old! I remember when she was born. My goodness, don't blink (even though somedays you would like to blink). Beautiful picture!!
what about that country song, "don't blink" i think it's by kenny chesney or keith urban or tim mcgraw or some other semi-hot cowboy looking guy. i've only just scratched the surface of country, but that's a good one. check it out. or win my prize at BP and you'll have it.
Yah, is that a new haircut? Just what I was thinking. Looks like a cute bob. Cute twirly picture too- she probably loves looking at that. That is all that mattered to me when I was little- how my dress twirled. I can't believe she is 6. That means Camden is going to be six. What happened to our preschoolers???
We're visiting my parents in Nashville, and my mom left comments on everyone's blog as me. Oops! Anyway, Happy Birthday to your cute, happy girl. I hope mine turns out as sweet.
Love that photo. You have totally captured that moment. So beautiful.
And yes, I am totally with you on the school picture thing. They are awful. I buy the smallest package which is like letter M just so my kids feel like they are loved as much as the kid sitting next to them in class.
Happy Birthday to your adorable little girl. What an amazing picture. Seriously.
I also just read a little bit through your post about school pictures. Too funny. I'm all about bringing back the whole 80's double shot. You know, the one where you are looking forward then you have the faded looking off to the side shot in the background. Now those were beauties. :)
What an awesome twirl!! I used to love doing that. Well, don't tell, but I still do it....
Keep your eyes wide open and your camera ready. I could have sworn I just celebrated my duaghter's 7th. She'll be 14 in a couple of months. Where does it GO?!?!
Gorgeous photo, absolutely stunning. Don't you wish you could just shrink wrap them and keep them little and innocent and wonderful forever?
I was at lunch with Lauren and my friend Rachel in Utah this weekend and burst into tears missing my "little girl" and wishing she was 6 again. Savor each and every minute, time flies by too quickly.
This photo is awesome! Sorry I have not been blogging lately! I have been taping shows. What was I thinking?? Hah! Maybe it is a good thing I wasn't thinking! If you get a minute, check it out. I'd love to hear what you think. I am inviting all my blog friends over for feedback. http://www.dishingwithdebbie.com Your stories are great and my whole idea behind this show is for other moms to share real stories like you do. Sponsors are donating neat prizes like chocolate baskets and mini-chef aprons and way cool cookery stuff. Anyway, I'd love to hear from you.
Love this photo! (You are so talented!) Happy birthday cute six year old! (Jaimee wants to come over RIGHT NOW) ☺
ReplyDeletePS Seriously... don't blink.
Tell her she's grounded from turning six. Tell her she has to go backwards now. It works for my kids. It makes them cry.
ReplyDeleteShe will be. I blinked and my first baby is 14 today. We have a bday in common. I'm posting about her today.
ReplyDeleteDon't *blink*, don't *blink*!
ReplyDeleteI love that picture. You are such a talented blogger and photographer!
I love how you said you love her more than she will ever know. It really is true...how can our children possibly know how much we love them?
Happy Birthday to Hannah!

ReplyDeleteI just noticed that when I posted a comment it was under Robyn's name. oops! She says happy birthday too!
ReplyDeleteThe great thing is that at 16 she'll still have the 6 year old inside her. Isn't it great that she turned out to be a girly girl in pink??
